ACADEMIC AND METHODOLOGY SEMINAR “MY WAY TO SCIENCE”

Helen Ovsiyuk, PhD in Physics and Mathematics, Associate Professor, said about the main research activities in Physics available for school children. She also presented a research project “Electric battery made from vegetables and fruit”. M.Kravchenko, a pupil (Secondary School No.14 in Mozyr), presented her report on the topic “Estimation of specific heat of fusion”. M.Tomashevich, 3rd year student, Physics and Engineering Department, told about his scientific project “Remote software for smartphones “Android blog Support Team””. It is a great honour to say that this project was presented in the State contest “100 ideas for Belarus”.

Vladimir Dubodel, Head teacher, presented his project “Development of protective covering for engineering structures”. The representatives of State Establishment “Mozyr District Academic and Methodology Center” expressed their deepest gratitude to the administration of Physics and Engineering Department for the arrangement of the seminar.
