STATE CHRISTMAS STUDENT BALL AT INDEPENDENCE PALACE

On December 28, 2018 State Christmas Student Ball was held at the premises of Independence palace in Minsk. Alexander Lukashenko, the President of the Republic of Belarus, participated in the affair. The best students from all over the country participated in the ball. There were more than 300 participants. Alina Maskalchuck (Physics and Engineering Department), Ksenia Katryuck (Philology Department), Tatsiana Potyha (Technology and Biology Department), Petr Dalenchuck (Physical Education Department) were the members of the delegation from MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. The main peculiarity of the ball was the medieval style.Alexander Lukashenko said that those days social events were the only possibility to talk to each other. However, these days there were lots of places where young people could talk. And that was nice because you could feel the personality only looking into people’s eyes. Mr President paid attention to the fact that the ball was held at Independence Palace of Minsk and that was his gift to the most talented students who did their best, who struggled and achieved much in research, studies and academic life. State Christmas Student Ball was arranged for debutants. The best traditions of the XVIII – XIX cent. were kept and presented at the event.
