CELEBRATION IN HONOR OF GREAT SPORTSMEN

On November 29, 2018 Celebration in honour of great sportsmen was held at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. Valery Navnyko, Rector of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin, greeted the audience and started the ceremony. Vladimir Shantarovich, Head trainer of the National team of the Republic of Belarus in Rowing and Canoeing, Honored trainer, an award holder of the prize “Belarusian Sport Olympus”, an honored citizen of Mozyr, Associate Professor of the Chair of Physical Education and Sport Disciplines congratulated the sportsmen and expressed his deepest gratitude to high motivation and a competitive spirit which led to success in sport career. Among the speakers there were Alexandr Myzgin, Head trainer of the National Team of the Republic of Belarus in Rowing and Canoeing, Sergey Makarchuck, Director of Educational Establishment “Gomel Regional Center of Olympic Reserve on Rowing types of sport”, Sergey Shchur, Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs at MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin, Alexandr Serkov, Director of Educational Establishment “Gomel State College of Olympic Reserve”, Sergey Blotsky, Dean of Physical Education Department at MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin.Festive diplomas ceremony was held within the cerebration ceremony. The following prominent teachers and trainers were awarded with the diplomas. Vladimir Shantarovich got the diploma for excellent training of sportsmen who got the prizes at numerous World and Europe competitions, noticeable contribution to popularization of sport and development of Physical culture and sport, enhancement of sport and health improvement affairs, creation and further development of moral principles of life, development of the spirit for respect and love to the Motherland; Vasily Budkovsky and Valery Dranets got the diplomas for fruitful work and excellent training of students.
The following students got their festive diplomas for achievements in world championships and for getting the title “Master of Sport” i.e. Ivan Kuprienko, Alexandra Kallaur, Anton Novak, Olga Chegayeva, Elizaveta Vilkova, Vladislava Skiganova, Natalia Truhanovich, Alina Nevmerzhitskaya, Viktor Galalyuk, Irina Vihruk, Ivan Tsuranov, Alexey Misyuchenko, Denis Potapenko, Kirill Smolyanik, Vladislav Litvinov, Grogory Maysyuk, Yuri Tkachev, Maria Kovalenko, Igor Boychevsky, Vladislav Belous, Dmitry Levanchuk, Vladislav Suhonosov, Alexey Yakubovich, Egor Sushchick, Kamilla Bobr, Elena Nozdreva, Ilya Fedorenko, Kirill Nikitin.
