INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE “DIFFERENTIAL GEOMETRY AND DYNAMIC SYSTEMS” (Mangalia, Romania)

13-1

With the assistance of the European Project MOST Elena Ovsiyuk, Associate Professor, Chair of Physics and Mathematics, PhD in Physics and Mathematics, participated in the international conference “Differential Geometry and dynamic systems (DGDS - 2018)” that was held in Mangalia (Romania) in August 2018; the chief organizers of the conference were Polytechnic University of Bucharest, Balkan Geometry Society, Romanian academy of sciences.

The conference was treated by the scientists and teachers as a great possibility to meet colleagues from abroad, to share new ideas and topical issues in the field of differential geometry, dynamic systems, mathematical models in Physics and Technology.

Elena Ovsiyuk submitted the report on the topic “Spin 1 particle with polarizability in the external Coulomb field, nonrelativistic description”.

If to describe the delegates from Belarus, let us mention the following prominent scholars: V.Redkov, Head research officer of the Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, G.Krylov, Associate professor from the Chair for Computerized modelling at Belarusian State University, G.Grushevskaya, the Leading research officer at the Chair for Computerized modelling at Belarusian State University, N.Krulova, Research Officer at the Chair for Computerized modelling at Belarusian State University.

As a part of a cultural component of the conference the participants visited Museum for Archeology in Mangalia, made up a sight-seeing tour and enjoyed the architecture and everyday life of the city.
