On April 25, 2018 bachelor degree students met the professors who run scientific schools at Physics and Engineering department.
Professor Savenko, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Head of the chair of Physics and Mathematics, got acquainted the students with the main achievements of the scientific school “Physics of strength and ductility property”, trends in modern technology and science, practice-oriented techniques, the results of II Congress of the Scientists of the Republic of Belarus, perspectives for science development and manufacture in the Republic of Belarus.
Professor Shepelevich, Doctor of Physics and Mathematical Sciences, Head of the Chair of Theoretical Physics and Applied Informatics, lectured on modern approaches to research and the ways how to attract students to start researching.
Professor Kulak, Doctor of Physics and Mathematical Sciences, lectured on the main results of the work “Acoustooptics of anizotropic crystals and optical wave guides”. The theory of acoustooptics engagement in gyrotropic crystals and optical wave guides, anisotropy issues were discussed during the lecture.
