The day of the constitution of the Republic of Belarus is annually celebrated on March, 15. The meaning of the day is well known to every citizen in our country, because the Constitution has determined a further development of the country, its social and legal status.
On March 15, 2018 MSPU freshmen participated in the meeting devoted to the Day of the Constitution held at the premises of the Center for Ideology; chief organizers – MSPU Youth Office and the members of Philology Department, Chair of History and Social Sciences.
Sergey Shchur, Vice-Rector for Social Affairs, opened the meeting and said that the Day of the Constitution is known as a memorable event, because it bears a great ideological and patriotic meaning. Svetlana Matveeva, Head of MSPU Youth Office, in cooperation with Ludmila Gavrilovets, Head of the Chair of History and Social Sciences, lectured on the fundamental provisions of the constitution, its History and development. At the end of the meeting all the students were granted with the hard copies of the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus.
