Dmitry Zakharenko, Master’s Degree student (Technology and Biology Department), submitted a project “Root-balled tree system of the English oak: Peculiarities of Seedling”. The main objective of the project was to present a new technology of seeding developed for the English oak. The author focused his attention on keeping the nursery plants in plastic containers first and then transporting them to the open ground. According to the results of the investigation it was stated that the preservation of the seedling would increase up to 96% if to follow the developed technique.
All the young investigators were invited to take part in an open dialogue “Initiative of young people: from idea to implementation”.
Dmitry Zakharenko got a prize in the category “Young scientists under 35 years” in the nomination of “Bio- and nanoindustry”.
