On March 05, 2017 18^th State Youth Karate Competition WKF “Polessie Cup” arranged within Gomel Region Karate Open Competition was held at the premises of Mozyr State Pedagogical University. 140 young sportsmen from 12 sport clubs participated in the cup.

Co-organizers of the competition were: Open Society “Belarusian Traditional Karate Federation”, Department of Sport and Tourism of Gomel Executive Committee, Department of Youth, Culture and Education of Mozyr District Executive Committee, Mozyr Sport Club “Seidokai”.

Partners of the competition were: “Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P.Shamyakin”, “Belarusian Youth Union Committee”, “Belarusian Veteran Union”, Mozyr District Organization “Belaya Rus’”.

The winners of the competition are the following:

1^st prize – Club “Seidokai” (Mozyr)

2^nd prize – Club “Seiran” (MInsk)

3^rd prize – Club “Olymp” (MInsk)
