On October 16, 2015 social campaign “Stop Slavery!” was held at Preschool and Elementary Education Department. It was organized by the 4th and 2nd year students (Maria Gromyko, Victoria Korzun, Polina Makarevich, Alexandra Soroka, Diana Poluyan) and curator of group 4/2 Ekaterina Mihaylova.
The main objective of the campaign was to invite attention of students and teachers to human trafficking. Methods of private security in foreign countries were also singled out and taken into consideration.
Methodical literature and statistical data devoted to human trafficking in the Republic of Belarus (in 2000-2015) were presented. Interactive campaign included propagation of prospects, quiz “What do you know about human trafficking?”, questionnaire survey. In disregard of problem severity, interaction of participants could be characterized as amicable and hospitable.
Diana Puhovskaya and Tatsiana Samuylick became quiz winners. The girls showed how deep and extensive their knowledge was. All other participants got prospects and sweet things.
Forewarned is forearmed! We are able to stop human trafficking!
