FROM INITIAL HYPOTHESES TO SCIENTIFIC ACHIEVEMENTS

As part of the 33rd International Student Scientific and Practical Conference “From Idea to Innovation,” held on April 17, 2026, at the I.P. Shamyakin Moscow State Pedagogical University, the Department of Technological Education hosted a session titled “Current Issues in Technological and Art Education in the System of General Secondary and Supplementary Education for Children and Youth.” Students from the Faculty of Technology and Biology participated in the session.

Nina Anatolyevna Garulia, Associate Professor of the Department of Technological Education, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech. In her remarks, she emphasized the significance of science in the modern world, the importance of utilizing pedagogical potential to facilitate the exchange of experience among young students, and the relevance of involving university graduates in research activities.

Students presented reports on various areas of technological and artistic education. The participants were presented with interesting, scientifically rich presentations:

– Maria Shved – “Integrating Traditional Forms of Belarusian Decorative and Applied Arts into the Creation of a Youth Collection of Accessories and Costume Add-ons”;

– Klim Gladky – “The Unity of Labor and Creativity in the Technical Training of Students”;

– Andrei Kunets – “Developing the creative potential of schoolchildren in vocational education classes through the creation of decorative metal items”;

– Nadezhda Figurina – “Analysis of the object of labor activity in service-oriented vocational education classes as a means of shaping family values”;

– Irina Mikhalenok – “Current Trends in the Development of Vocational and Technical Training for Students in the Republic of Belarus.”

Third- and fourth-year students Irina Mikhalenok and Maria Shved were recognized for the best research papers.
