photo There was a pullout of the Soviet troops from Afganistan on February 15, 1989. With the aim to commemorate this date the representatives of the Faculty of Physical education conducted a curatorial hour devoted to the Memorial Day of Peacekeeping soldiers on February 17, 2022. The main objective of the event is the cultivation of patriotism among students, the formation of clear ideas of what courage, morality, respect really mean and to support talented young people.

The students prepared the presentation and the quiz devoted to the History of those days. Much attention was paid to such important things as unit cohesion and Afgan life style. Mozyr city dwellers who participated in the war and died were paid respect by a one-minute silence.

Patriotic and educational events allow the students to feel their affiliation with the civil society and shows the need to communicate properly, to exchange the experience and to be motivated for self-development.
