On March 20, 2020 Muslim national holiday “Novruz-Bayram” was celebrated by the international students from Turkmenistan. The holiday was celebrated at the premises of MSPU Student Dormitory No. 3. The students told about the traditions and rituals they followed when they celebrated Novrus-Bayram in their home country.

Julia Ranchinskaya, a curator, singled out that the celebrating ceremonies of the national fests was treated like a good opportunity for all to memorize the value of the traditions and to involve more people in investigating national traditions.

СOUNCIL MEETING OF THE YOUNG SCIENTISTS WITH THE MINISTER OF EDUCATION

On March 13, 2020 Natalia Astreyko, PhD in Psychology, Head teacher, Department of Pedagogics and Psychology, participated in the council meeting of the young scientists of the Republic of Belarus where Igor Karpenko, the Minister of the Republic of Belarus, participated as well. The meeting was held at the premises of Polesye State University in Pinsk (Brest region).

MSPU students who participate in the volunteer affairs participated in the cleaning campaign “Let’s get down to business!” which was held on March 21, 2020. The volunteers represented the Social Organization “Belarusian State Youth Union”.

YOUNG PEOPLE “BUILD” THE COUNTRY AND ITS FUTURE

On March 18, 2020 Open dialogue “Young people “build” the country and its future” was held at the premises of the Center for Ideology. MSPU administration invited several honorable guests i.e. O. Sosnovets, Head of Belarusbank - Branch 317, V. Homutovsky, Headmaster of Secondary School 7 in Mozyr, V. Strukov, Chairman of MSPU trade committee. All the guests are MSPU graduates who have achieved great success in their career. Each guest told MSPU students a story about their way to success. Much attention was paid to a profession of a teacher, mainstreamification of teaching, upgrade of the image of a modern teacher and enhancement of the image of a teacher in the society today. MSPU administration arranges the meeting with interesting people on a regular basis, because they believe that the people who have achieved great success in life and career are able to motivate the other people to strive to succeed.

ROUND TABLE DISCUSSION “I AM A CITIZEN OF THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS”

On March 15 all Belarusians celebrate the Day of Constitution of the Republic of Belarus. In this vein a round table discussion “I am a citizen of the Republic of Belarus” devoted to the 26^th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus was held at the premises of MSPU Center for Ideology on March 13, 2020. Sergey Shchur, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, opened the meeting and singled out great significance of this discussion, because the topic of the agenda was devoted to the basic document of our country. Ludmila Gavrilovets, Head of the Department of History and Social Sciences, told the students about the Constitutional regularity of the Republic of Belarus and the history of its development, social rights and guarantees of the citizens of the Republic of Belarus. Every participant got a book of Constitution as a gift from the University at the end of the discussion.
