LIGHT OF KINDNESS: VOLUNTARY CAMPAIGN AT PHILOLOGY DEPARTMENT

Within the framework of a volunteer campaign “Let’s go to school and be kind to each other” MSPU students from Philology Department visited a family based care home of Veniamin and Natalia Tregub. There are 10 children in the family where 7 children are adopted. Philology students got a lucky chance to talk to the parents and children and gave presents to the children. Moreover, a small entertainment affair was prepared by the students. After the performance the students walked around the house and saw how this family lived.

STATE CAMPAIGN “LET’S CONGRATULATE OUR MOTHERS TOGETHER!”

On October 14, 2019 with regard to the Plan of the Presidium of the Trade Committee Council of Belarus for July – December 2019 “About conducting the State campaign “Let’s congratulate our mothers together!”” MPSU trade committee conducted this festive affair. Every student got a chance to get a postcard and fill it in for their mothers. More than 200 postcards were prepared.

INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION

Within the framework of the cooperation agreement signed between Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P.Shamyakin and Navoi State Pedagogical Institute (Republic of Uzbekistan) a new academic project “Open Lecture” was arranged. The main idea of the project was to present modern and topical developments in the sphere of human and natural sciences.

In this vein Vladimir Savenko, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Chair of Physics and Mathematics, presented his lecture “Electromagnetic induction. Alternate current” on October 11, 2019.

FORM-CLASS “SAY “NO” TO ALCOHOL AND SMOKING”

On October 07, 2019 3^rd year students majoring in “Biology and Chemistry” under the guidance of Veronika Malashenko held a form-class devoted to the problems of alcohol and smoking addiction in the society. Students prepared the presentations about the harm of alcohol and tobacco to human health. Alongside with these problems HIV and hepatitis were also discussed. The importance of healthy life-style was discussed. The students were amazed by this form of extra-curriculum activities, because it is a great way to discuss topical issues and problems which bother young people.

MOTHER IS THE MOST IMPORTANT WORD!

Mother’s day is a unique fest in every person’s life. Nobody feels indifferent to it. People express their gratitude to their mothers who give much care about their children. In this vein on October 14, 2019 a festive ceremony devoted to the Mothers’ day was held at the premises of the university. MSPU trade union committee arranged a festive affair “Let’s congratulate our mums together!” Members of the student government from Physics and Engineering Department prepared a social campaign “Mother is the most important word ever”. Representatives of MSPU Youth Department prepared a picture competition “We esteem our mothers”. Student party “Let’s speak about our mothers” was held at the premises of Student dormitory No.2. Social campaign “Let’s congratulate our mothers” was held at the premises of Student Dormitory No. 3.
