On November 15, 2018 State Methodology Association of the teachers in the field of additional education was held in Mozyr. The following topic was discussed “Support of talented pupils by means of enhancement and implementation of activities focused on visual art and decorative and applied arts”.
Representatives of Technology and Biology department participated in the meeting and arranged some exhibitions for the participants. 2 fashion collections made by Irina Makerenkova were shown. It was a great honour to say that those collections were shown at the State Fashion Contest “Mill of Fashion” and got the prizes.
Creative project “My town, I love you so much…” impressed the audience greatly; the project was devoted to the YEAR OF MOTHERLAND in Belarus. The guests were deeply impressed by master-classes on post-cards making and textile painting prepared by M. Bondar and O. Dorofeeva. All the guests got a chance to make post-cards and enjoy textile painting creation.
Later on the participants were invited to Secondary School No. 9 in Mozyr where a master-class on “Differentiation of creative tasks while studying at the establishments of additional education (through the example of gingerbread satinizing)” was conducted. During the master-class the attendees were presented research and methodological background of methodology for differentiation and person-oriented approaches while teaching decoration techniques.
The activities of this type are treated as highly important affairs, because teachers and students can exchange their knowledge, practical experience and promote the useful nature of education!
