On April 18, 2016 integrated lesson on “Mysteries of ordinary water” was held at the premises of Technology and Biology Department within the framework of XXIII State Student Research and Practice Conference “From Idea to Innovation”; chief organizer – L. Starshikova, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Docent. The main objective of the lesson was to describe the quality of water while using various scientific views.

It was stated that 70% of the planet was covered with water; only 1% was regarded as drinking water. Water is the easiest and typical essence on the planet. However, it still keeps enigmas.

During the lesson the students were describing the quality of water based on the postulates of Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Ecology and Biochemistry. They asked complicated questions and got detailed answers.
