Fashion Mill – 2016! We are the finalists!

In March 2016 XXV State Fashion and Photo Festival – Contest “Fashion Mill - 2016” was held at the premises of Gomel House of Students and Employees. Young designers from Gomel and Gomel Region took part in this art competition.
In the words of Alexander Varlamov, Fashion Mill founder, the contest is believed to be a creative workshop; the main objective is education and creativity development. Participants are given a lucky chance to make themselves known and to show their collections at home and abroad.
Victoria Yarosh and Alena Krysanova, Technology and Biology Department, represented MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. The two girls created clothing collection for teenagers called “Blue moth”. 10 outfits made from home fabric. I. Makerenkova, Head teacher, Chair of Labor Training and Decorative Art, was a creative advisor. Elena Mozhanova and Anna Lavrinenko, Technology and Biology Department students, rendered assistance to FM – 2016 participants.
It is important to mention that our students obtained diplomas and became finalists!
