On January 12, 2016 final stage of the regional contest “My Law Making Initiative” was held in Gomel.
In order to participate in the contest young researchers and innovators studied “Law making” and got the certificates at the end of the course. Then the young people had to pass the test and showed their knowledge. Those who got high marks were invited to take part in the final stage.
Veronika Arhipova, 3rd year student, Technology and Biology Department, (Scientific advisor – Natlia Dokuchaeva) won the 2nd prize in the contest; the project “Regulation of migration processes in the Republic of Belarus”. The main objective was to adopt the law “About creation and activity of Social adaption centers for migrants and forcibly displaced persons”. The branches of the center should have been opened in every region all over the Republic. Financial assistance would be grant aid and settled by District Executive Committees.
The winners received honorable certificates and valuable gifts and were included into the talent pipeline of Gomel Executive Committee.
