Keeping Goodwill in Your Hands: Volunteer Forum in Mozyr

On September 04 2015 the first volunteer district forum “Keeping Goodwill in Your Hands” was successfully finished. It was held on the premises of Mozyr District Organization “Belarusian Society of Red Cross”. The main aims of the forum were to consolidate active participants of volunteer initiative in Mozyr and Mozyr district and develop cooperation between numerous volunteer groups. Among them there were Mozyr State Pedagogical University students (Member of the Council – Kirill Latyshev), Mozyr State Polytechnical College and Mozyr State Medical College students, Mozyr Secondary School No.5 pupils and representatives of Gomel Region Volunteer Council.
Communication of experience between participants and quests of the forum was created by means of numerous tutorials, workshops and open dialogues. As a result Mozyr District Volunteer Council was formed. Ilona Sinitskaya, Philology Department, MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin, was nominated for a post of a chairman.
As experience confirms, Volunteer Association contributes to better development of volunteer movement in Mozyr district!
