Yaroslav-the-Wise Novgorod State University and Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P.Shamyakin: Borders of Cooperation

On May 21, 2015 delegation from NovSU headed by the Rector Dr. Victor Weber visited Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P.Shamyakin. A welcoming party was held at the main building of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin.
International activity is a significant priority of Mozyr University; in its turn Yaroslav-the-Wise Novgorod State University has got wide experience in realization of the international educational project TEMPUS (“Initial and Further Training or Teachers and Educational Managers with regard to Diversity”).
At the present moment integration has deepened at the level of states, institutions and communities. Society has obtained multi-ethnic features what leads to problem-plagued arrangement of educational process. As we see today any school/college/university groups are characterized by heterogeneous features. Cooperation of scientists from Russia, Belarus, Germany, Austria and some other countries will allow determining the solution of such a global problem within the terms of the mentioned-above project.
As the Rector of Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P.Shamyakin Prof. Valentin Valetov noticed some activities have already been held : Specialized Pedagogics, Psychology literature in Russian, English, German have been sold; University administration have met principals of schools and correctional centers; Competence-based center was opened. MSPU teachers are working on probation in Russia and Germany in order to introduce the inclusive educational environment.
Coordinator of the project, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Nikolay Lebedev underlined the fact that multilevel system of training for teachers and educational managers has been created. Specialized modules of inclusive education have been implemented into the academic process of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. Nikolay Lebedev emphasized that international observers estimated high quality of the module content developed by Chairholder of Practical Psychology and Defectology, L.Ivanova, and Vice-Principal of Competence-Based Center, N.Sharinets. Development of the international training aid in Diversity Pedagogics by Chairholder of Pedagogics M.Yemelianova and Docent I.Zhurlova became the main stage of the project realization.
Vice-Principal of Competence-Based Center, Natalia Sharinets covered the question of the main achievements of MSPU teachers on their way to realization of the international project.
Discussion of the abovementioned questions provoked a living dialogue among the members of the working group. Prof. Mikhail Pevzner, Scientific Advisor of the Project, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, characterized MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin as a substantial university-partner and presented some potential ways for further cooperation. Rosa Sherayzina, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, Undergraduate of Mozyr State Pedagogical Institute, pooled the experience of introduction of new forms of pedagogical cooperation into practical training. Lubov Klepchukova, Chief of Education, Sport and Tourism Department, paid much attention to actuality and importance of introduction of these pedagogical innovations.
Administration of both Universities made arrangements for the opening of a new Master’s Degree Programme “Educational Management” under the auspices of Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P.Shamyakin.
At the end of the meeting both parties came to the conclusion that such events are extremely helpful in achieving common aims within the framework of the international cooperation.
