XXVII Minsk International Book Fair

On February 05-09, 2020 the largest book forum “XXVII Minsk International Book Fair” was held in BelExpo Complex. The motto of this event was formulated the following way: “Belarus is an open book”. Ludmila Gavrilovets, Head of the Department of History and Social Sciences, and Nikolay Mezga, Doctor of Historical Sciences, from Francisk Skorina Gomel State University presented their book “Contemporary History of Asia and Africa”.

Nikolay Mezga and Ludmila Gavrilovets talked to the guests of the event about the peculiarities of development of Asia and Africa, the main characteristics of economic and political development of the regions in Asia and Africa. The authors of the book talked to the public and answered their questions.

On February 05, 2020 Sport festival was held at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin.

On February 05, 2020 MSPU teachers participated in the mini-football competition for men. On February 07, 2020 MSPU teachers participated in the mini-football competition for women.

ARM WRESTLING СOMPETITION

Arm wrestling competition for teachers was held at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. Let us congratulate the team of Philology Faculty who won the first prize and the team of Physical Education Faculty who won the second prize.

In accordance with the results of the individual championships we are happy to congratulate V. Metlushko and V. Doyniak who won in the men’s categoty; and Yu. Blotskaya, L. Tsalko, L. Prohorenko who won in the women’s category.
