ROUND TABLE DISCUSSION “I AM A CITIZEN OF THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS”

photo On March 15 all Belarusians celebrate the Day of Constitution of the Republic of Belarus. In this vein a round table discussion “I am a citizen of the Republic of Belarus” devoted to the 26th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Belarus was held at the premises of MSPU Center for Ideology on March 13, 2020. Sergey Shchur, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, opened the meeting and singled out great significance of this discussion, because the topic of the agenda was devoted to the basic document of our country. Ludmila Gavrilovets, Head of the Department of History and Social Sciences, told the students about the Constitutional regularity of the Republic of Belarus and the history of its development, social rights and guarantees of the citizens of the Republic of Belarus. Every participant got a book of Constitution as a gift from the University at the end of the discussion.

“MR UNIVERSITY-2020”

 On March 12, 2020 "Mr University 2020" contest was held at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. This contest is known to be the brightest event, because it brings exciting emotions to every guest and participant!

"Mr University" gives bright opportunities for the contestants to show their talents and skills. 5 contestants strived for victory in 2020. The members of the jury committee did their best and passed fair judgements on creativity, culinary skills, artistic skills, music art, IQ tests and achievements in sport.

We are happy to say that Andrey Shevchuk (Technology and Biology Department) got the title "Mr Popularity" and "Mr Cook". Alexey Sumarevich (Philology Department) got the title "Mr Gentleman". DmitryKonovalov (Physics and Engineering Department) got the title "Mr Brainbox". Novruz Yagmyrov (Physics and Engineering Department) got the title "Mr Artistry".

Vladislav Lashkovsky (Physical Education Department) got an honorary title "Mr University-2020"!

DOORS OPEN DAY AT PHILOLOGY DEPARTMENT

photo On February 29, 2020 Philology Department welcomed the guests from secondary schools of the region and arranged a festive campaign where all the information about the programs and opportunities were discussed. Rules and regularities for admission in 2020 were also discussed. At the end of the ceremony the guests visited the Center for Russian studies and other classrooms and lecture halls where they could see how well-equipped the department was.

TV LINK-UP SESSION WITH ORSHA

photo On March 04, 2020 the representatives of Foreign Languages Department and Foreign Language Teaching Methodology arranged a TV link-up session with the repsentatives of Orsha College of Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov. Irina Kovalevich and Lubov Puzan spoke about the programs and possibilities available for students majoring in foreign languages. Much attention was paid to well-equipped laboratories and lecture rooms, electronic library and language labs available for studies. The graduates of Orsha college were informed about the perspectives of Research activities held at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin.

PRESS TOUR OF NASTAUNITSKAYA GAZETA IN GOMEL REGION

photo On March 12, 2020 the representatives of “Nastaunitskaya Gazeta” in Gomel Region visited MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin within the press tour around Belarus. Vadim Knyshev, the editor-in-chief of the editorial and publishing house “Pedagogical Press”, met MSPU teachers. The guests visited MSPU museum, Center for Russian studies, lecture rooms and interactive playgrounds of the departments. Then Valery Naunyka and Vadim Knyshev met MSPU teachers and students. Mr Rector spoke about the mission of the University, the main tasks and objectives the University fulfilled these days. Mr Editor-in-chief spoke about the current problems the teachers in Belarus faced. At the end of the meeting Vadim Knyshev awarded Mr Rector with the thanksgiving letter where the words of gratitude for successful cooperation were stated.
