Participation of MSPU master's degree students in the Academic Contest on Proficiency in Pedagogics

On April 06, 2020 International Online Academic Contest in Pedagogics for Bachelor Degree, Master's Degree and PhD students was held at the premises of Belarusian State Pedagogical University named after Maxim Tank.

Master's degree students majoring in "Theory and methodology of education and training" represented MSPU team and participated in the 2nd stage of the contest.

MASTER-CLASSES AT PHYSICS AND ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT

Within the framework of the XII International Research-to-Practice Conference «Innovative Teaching Techniques in Physics, Mathematics, Vocational and Mechanical Training» the teachers from Secondary School No. 16 in Mozyr arranged the master classes for MSPU students majoring in Physics and Engineering. Elena Evzhick hold a master class devoted to “Non-standard tasks as the means to form potential for creativity”. Elena Kravets hold a master class devoted to “Tasks in Physics as the means for development of cognitive activity”. The teachers shared their experience with the students with great pleasure and gave useful advice on how to enhance methodological potential at the lesson of Physics and Mathematics at school.

TUBERCULOSIS PREVENTIVE CAMPAIGN

World Tuberculosis day is annually celebrated on March 24. The aim of this event is to inform more people about the disastrous results of tuberculosis for human health and to accumulate the tools for protection from tuberculosis. In 1882 Robert Koch discovered a bacteria-infecting agent for tuberculosis. Thanks to this discovery diagnosis and treatment of tuberculosis was available for the doctors. A camomile is a symbol of the World Tuberculosis Day.

With due regard to the mentioned above, Natalia Prokofievaa and Natalia Miranovich, the representatives of Mozyr antitubercular specialized early treatment center, visited MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin and met the students. The doctors spoke about the meaning of tuberculosis, the history of the illness, the reasons why tuberculosis was dangerous, World Tuberculosis Day, world tuberculosis statistics and preventive measures.

MSPU STUDENTS MET THE PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS FROM MOZYR LOCAL SOCIAL CENTER

On March 20, 2020 MSPU students from Physical Education Department visited Mozyr local social center with the aim to arrange an educational event “From heart to heart”; group leader – Natalia Nichiporko, Head Teacher, Department of Theory and Methodology of Physical education. A wide range of interesting competitions were prepared for the people with special needs. The administration of Physical education department has the opinion that educational events develop the feeling of support and wish to be helpful.

Social campaign "Be healthy!" has successfully started at MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin! The volunteers from Belarusian State Youth Union supported this campaign and helped to spread vitamins and information leaflets among MSPU teachers and students.
