Dear friends,

The victory day is coming! 75 years ago the Soviet people achieved the victory in the Great Patriotic war. The Soviet soldiers destroyed the Fascism and saved the world civilization from a complete destruction.

The price of this victory was high. Every third Belarusian died, millions of people lost their relatives and friends. With reference to the above mentioned the current generation should be respectful and grateful.

Our Belarus is a graceful heiress of the Great Victory. We live in a peaceful and safe country where all the conditions for work and development have been created, the country where the veterans get protected, the country where the memories have been kept.

A GUARD POST OF MEMORY

On May 07, 2020 a social and patriotic campaign “A guard post of memory” was held at the premises of Philology Department. The victory day is treated as a holiday but our eyes are always full of tears because of sorrow. A wide variety of activities were held i.e. art exhibits, online project, letter exchange campaign. Philology students created a Victory memorial devoted to the memory of the relatives who participated in the Great Patriotic war. This year 35 new names were posted on the wall of the memorial.

“TEARS OF WAR…”

On May 06, 2020 the 3^rd year and the 4^th year students who major in foreign languages attended a lesson guided by a curator of the two groups. The lesson was devoted to the Great patriotic war and the victory of the Soviet people. The teacher paid much attention to the fact that lots of people died but the Belarusians started a peaceful life. The students prepared the presentations; they sang the songs and recited the poems. At the end of the lesson everybody came to the conclusion that the only way to express gratitude is to talk about this.

THE 75TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR AND THE VICTORY OF THE SOVIET PEOPLE

On May 09, 2020 a festive meeting devoted to the 75^th anniversary was held in Mozyr. The administration of the city, MSPU Rectorate, representatives of various communities and public societies. MSPU Vice-Rectors, the deans, bachelor and master’s degree students participated in the meeting, they put the flowers and participated in the 1 min silence session in order to recollect the names of those who struggled in the war.

Dear veterans, let us express our deepest gratitude to you! Thanks a lot!

WE REMEMBER WHEN OUR HEARTS BEAT!

The victory day is the fest which is known to be the symbol of people’s honour, fame, glory and bravery. We appreciate this day because it brought the following generation piece, freedom and prosperity. May 09, 1945 is far away from us but it is still in our hearts. With this regard, a festive campaign “The flowers of the great war” was held at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin on May 08, 2020. This campaign was devoted to the 75^th anniversary of the great patriotic war. MSPU students prepared a performance where they sang, recited poems and did a Patriotic quiz.
