NEW YEAR’S PARTY - 2019

On December 17, 2019 New year’s party – 2019 was held at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. This party is annually held at the university upon the initiative of MSPU Student Council. The students who were inspired by creativity, art and music participated in the party.

The students who lived in the Dormitory No. 3 got the prize in the nomination “The best Santa Claus and The Snow Maiden”. The students from the Dormitory No.1 got the prize in the nomination “The Best Performance”. The students from the Dormitory No. 2 got the prize in the nomination “The best X-mas tree”.

On December 03, 2019 Victor Redkov, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, the chief research officer of the Center for Fundamental Interactions and Astrophysics of the Institute of Physics named after B.I. Stepanov of the National Academy of Sciences visited MSPU and conducted a lecture.

RESEARCH AND METHODOLOGY SEMINAR FOR THE TEACHERS OF PHYSICS FROM MOZYR

On December 10, 2019 Research and methodology seminar for the teachers of Physics from Mozyr was held at the premises of Physics and Engineering Department. Vladimir Savenko, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, opened the meeting and introduced the participants with the management of end-of-course assessment, forms and methods of teachers’ training in Physics. Zhanna Ravutskaya, PhD in Pedagogics, Associate professor presented the report “Methodology of work for projects and tasks in Physics for pupils who study in Form 9”. Much attention was paid to seld-training of pupils, project methodology, algorithms for project tasks development.

Erasmus+ Project “Development of practically-oriented student-centred education in the field of modelling of Cyber-Physical Systems / CybPhys”

On November 15, 2019 Erasmus+ Project “Development of practically-oriented student-centred education in the field of modelling of Cyber-Physical Systems / CybPhys” started. The universities from Latvia, Ukraine, Belgium, Cyprus, Belarus participate in the consortium. Riga Technical University acts as a coordinator of the project.

On December 05-06, 2019 the first Kick-off meeting devoted to the management, tasks and objectives of the project was held at the premises of Belarusian State University. At the meeting all the participants introduced themselves and their universities and discussed the targets of the project. Anatoly Zabashta, the moderator of the meeting, spoke about the details and deadlines of the project.

1ST WORKING MEETING OF MSPU TEAM DEVOTED TO THE IMPLEMENTATION OF ERASMUS+ PROJECT “Development of practically-oriented student-centred education in the field of modelling of Cyber-Physical Systems / CybPhys”

On December 09, 2019 the first working meeting devoted to the implementation of Erasmus+ meeting was held at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. The members of the team discussed the main objectives of the project, personal tasks, event calendar, deadlines and perspectives of the project. Tatsiana Paliyeva, Vice-Rector for research, the Head of the project, and Tatsiana Loban, the manager of the project, presented the content of the project and answered to the questions of the group.

According to the program of the project MSPU team will develop 5 new academic courses and e-complexes for bachelor degree students, E-book “Computer modelling of physical processes”. IT-lab and E-library will be opened for cooperation and mutual work of teachers and students as well.

Thus, the participation in Erasmus+ project will help students and teachers of Informatics, Physics and Mathematics in Gomel region to upgrade their knowledge and competence.
