WE WILL NEVER FORGET ABOUT WAR

On July 03, 2019 festive campaign in honor of the 75^th anniversary of liberation from the Nazi and the independence day of the Republic of Belarus was held in our country. Representatives of various state establishments i.e. school, colleges, banks, participated in this festive campaign under the title “We will never forget about war”. War poetry, songs and performance were presented. It is important to mention that collaboration between generations is a great thing that will enrich both sides.

VISIT TO SECURITY SERVICES DEPARTMENT OF THE MINISTRY OF INTERNAL AFFAIRS OF THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS

On July 05, 2019 Foreign students from Philology Department, MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin, visited Security Services Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus. The students were informed about the structure of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, history and development of Security Services Department in Mozyr. Yu. Golovchenko, a Major, lectured on preventive measures from breaches of the law, public tranquility, consequences of legislation breaches in Belarus.

INDEPENDENCE DAY

Independence day in the Republic of Belarus is treated with great respect. On July 03, 2019 the 75^th anniversary of liberation from the Nazi was celebrated in our country. More than 300 MSPU students participated in the festive events. All the Belarusians used to recollect the liberators and to honour the veterans of the Great Patriotic War. There is a tradition to visit the veterans and express gratitude of younger generations.

Administration and members of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin always treat the traditions with great respect. This year MSPU delegation visited the memorial built in the place where the Jewish people were killed in Mozyr in 1942 – 1943. This day symbolizes bravery and heroism of the Belarusian people who could get a win over the Nazi.

We will always remember this act of heroism!

RESEARCH PROJECTS AVAILABLE FOR SECONDARY SCHOOLS

On May 18, 2019 Larisa Ivanenko and Elena Ovsiyuk, Associate Professors from the Chair of Physics and Mathematics (Physics and Engineering Department) participated in the workshop “Research projects available for secondary schools”. The workshop was held at the premises of State Educational Establishment “Secondary School No. 16 in Mozyr”.

Much attention was paid to typical features of research projects and the ways of its implementation in the field of Mathematics and Physics. Larisa Ivanenko, PhD in Pedagogics, Associate Professor, spoke about promising directions for research, how to structure research projects, how to execute the project. The pupils were given a lucky chance to get acquainted with a research project “How to turn vegetables and fruit into small electric batteries”.
