On September 05, 2019 Victor Strukov, Chairman of the primary trade union organization, met the 1st year Philology students and told them about the aims and tasks of the Belarusian trade committees in the sphere of education and science, up-to-date proposals by “Belarusturist” and “Belprofsoyuzkurort”. All the first year students were provided with the union cards and promotional materials.
On September 02, 2019 public dialogue “Belarus and me” was conducted at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. This affair was devoted to the 17th anniversary of the Belarusian State Youth Union. Representatives of Mozyr District Council of Deputies such as Valentina Nazarenko, Chairman of Mozyr District Council of Deputies, Anna Kozakevich, Vasily Parhomenko, Sergey Teterin, Anatoly Shevchik, Valentina Yatsukevich. Valery Naunyka, Rector of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin, Sergey Shchur, Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, and Ilona Kolosovskaya, Secretary of Belarusian State Youth Union, participate in the affair as well.
Rector of the University opened the ceremony, greeted the participants and singled out the significance and necessity of this event for the students, because it helped to build up cooperation between government bodies and young people.
“We will build the Union together with our friends” is a new project prepared by Public Association “Belarusian State Youth Union”. As a part of this project Ilona Kolosovskaya, secretary of BSYU, delivered new BSYU members from among MSPU students with festive diplomas. Youth Union is a large family of like-minded friends who can’t stand idly by and who can do their best to make their life more colorful and bright. We are happy to say that active students have become the members of our family!
On September 02, 2019 a festive meeting devoted to the day of knowledge was held at the premises of Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P.Shamyakin. Valery Naunyka, Rector of the University, opened the ceremony and wished everybody to get great achievements in studies and research. Among the students and the teachers several honorable guests were invited to the university i.e. Voskan Chobanyan, a public person and a benefactor, Valentina Nazarenko, Chairman of Mozyr District Deputy Council, Alexander Shilenok, a representative of Turov bishopric, an archpriest. Vladislav Mitsura, a holder of a special fellowship provided by the President of the Republic of Belarus, passed the key of knowledge to Regina Yarishik, a first year student.
Summer student patrol force campaign was held in Mozyr in summer 2019. MSPU students together with the representatives of Mozyr City Organization for Emergency Situation arranged a campaign to check public gathering places and lectured on safety rules while swimming and getting rest on the beach or in the forest in summer.
