WE ARE STRONGER WHEN WE ARE TOGETHER!

On September 27, 2019 the 28^th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Turkmenistan was celebrated. MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin was the place where this great fest was celebrated as well. Sergey Shchur, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, greeted all the participants of the fest and wished everybody to have piece, well-being and kindness in the hearts. All the guests of the fest enjoyed traditional songs and dancing performance. MSPU students from Turkmenistan spoke about the History and the national traditions.

VI INTERNATIONAL SHAMYAKIN’S READINGS “WRITER – PERSON – TIME”

On September 27, 2019 VI International Shamyakin’s readings “Writer – Person – Time” was held at the premises of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. Valery Naunyka, Rector of the University, opened the ceremony and greeted all the participants. Sergey Nikolaenko, Doctor of Philology, Professor (Masherov Vitebsk State University) sent a video-greeting to all the participants of the conference. The following honorable guests were invited to the conference:

Vladimir Koval, Doctor of Philology, Professor (Francisk Skorina Gomel State University);

Vasily Shur, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor (MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin);

Eugene Esis, a teacher of Belarusian and Belarusian Literature (Secondary School No.16 in Mozyr), Master of Philological Sciences;

Galina Dashkevich, PhD in Philology, Associate Professor, a veteran of teaching career;

ALIGNMENT MEETING ON SEPARATE WASTE COLLECTION

On September 27, 2019 an alignment meeting on separate waste collection was held at the premises of State Center for Ecology and Land Studies. Representatives of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, experts in the field of ecology and nature protection, students majoring in Biology and Environment protection participated in the meeting. N. Kozel, I. Zayats, D. Yarohovich, E. Yurchenko under the guidance of Elena Guminskaya, Head of the Chair of Biology and Ecology (MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin) took part in the meeting.

CITY DAY IN MOZYR

On September 21, 2019 a city day was arranged in Mozyr. This fest was devoted to the 864^th anniversary of Mozyr. A great festive campaign was arranged in the city center. MSPU delegation represented by the Administration office, staff members and the students participated in the festive events. A festive parade was a key event at the affair. Moreover, the best heads and the workers' associations in the social-economic, educational and cultural spheres were awarded with the festive diplomas. Valery Naunyka, Rector of the University, was awarded with a letter of thanks. Ludmila Ismailova was awarded with a diploma for high achievement. Elena Pavlechko, the head of Mozyr Municipality, granted the letters and the diplomas.

PROFESSIONAL PROFICIENCY COMPETITION

On September 19, 2019 a Regional contest for professional proficiency among the representatives of the corrections facilities was held. The aim of the contest was to check the correlation of psychological support and managerial issues with the standards developed for specialized establishments of a closed type, pretrial detention centers, compulsory rehabilitation centers working under the auspices of the Ministry of the Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus. The contest was held at the premises of the penitentiary facility “Correctional camp No. 20 of the Directorate of the Department for Corrections of the Ministry of the Internal Affairs in Gomel Region”. Elena Astreyko, PhD in Pedagogics, Associate Professor, was invited to act as a member of the jury committee.
