HEALTHY LIFESTYLE IS COOL!

On September 28, 2019 kettlebell lifting master-classes were held at the premises of "Secondary School No. 11 in Mozyr", "Secondary School No.15 in Mozyr", "Prudok Secondary School".

The main objectives of the campaigns:

– mainstreamification of healthy life-style among young people;

– providing young people with a possibility to do sport.

Good heath is closely connected with movement. Regular training will lead to good health and influence greatly on the immune system. Under the initiative of Sergey Doroshko, a bachelor degree student from Physical Education Department, initiated this project.

INTERNATIONAL RESEARCH TO PRACTICE CONFERENCE DEVOTED TO THE 70TH AANIVERSARY OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT (FRANCISK SKORINA GOMEL STATE UNIVERSITY)

On October 10-12, 2019 International Research to practice conference “Topical issues of Physical education in the regions with unfavorable development” was held at the premises of Francisk Skorina Gomel State University. The conference was devoted to the 70^th anniversary of Physical Education Department. Yuri Nikityuk, GSU Vice-Rector, opened the ceremony and greeted all the participants. Representatives of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin as represented by Sergey Blotsky, Dean of Physical Education Department, and Vyacheslav Gorovoy, Head of the Chair of Physical Education and Sport Disciplines, participated in the conference and presented their reports devoted to the main achievements in the sphere of physical education, sport and tourism.

STATE SOCIAL CAMPAIGN “WE TAKE CARE”

On October 05, 2019 MSPU students from Technology and Biology Department together with the pupils from Kamenka School participated in the State campaign “We take care” initiated by the Ministry of Natural resources and environmental protection, Ministry of Education and Center for Ecological Solutions. This campaign was held on the left bank of the river Pripyats. The participants collected 200 kg of rubbish (60 kg of plastic and 110 kg of glass).

LIGHT OF KINDNESS: VOLUNTARY CAMPAIGN AT PHILOLOGY DEPARTMENT

Within the framework of a volunteer campaign “Let’s go to school and be kind to each other” MSPU students from Philology Department visited a family based care home of Veniamin and Natalia Tregub. There are 10 children in the family where 7 children are adopted. Philology students got a lucky chance to talk to the parents and children and gave presents to the children. Moreover, a small entertainment affair was prepared by the students. After the performance the students walked around the house and saw how this family lived.

MSPU students express their deepest gratitude to Veniamin and Natalia Tregub for their love to the children!

STATE CAMPAIGN “LET’S CONGRATULATE OUR MOTHERS TOGETHER!”

On October 14, 2019 with regard to the Plan of the Presidium of the Trade Committee Council of Belarus for July – December 2019 “About conducting the State campaign “Let’s congratulate our mothers together!”” MPSU trade committee conducted this festive affair. Every student got a chance to get a postcard and fill it in for their mothers. More than 200 postcards were prepared.
