On May 04, 2019 a great running event devoted to the 74th anniversary of deliberation from the Nazi was held in Mozyr. 2 representatives of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin participated in this event- Yury Doynyak and Igor Doynyak (Physical Education Department).
On May 04, 2019 a festive concert devoted to the 74th anniversary of deliberation from the Nazi was held at the premises of the central concert hall in Mozyr. The concert was organized by the Youth Department of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. The Great patriotic war is an event that will be kept in the memories forever. We will always remember the names of the people who brought the victory!
On May 03, 2019 the 2nd State Festival for Patriotic Songs was held at the premises of the Belarusian State University of Transport and the 74th anniversary of the deliverance from the Nazi. Representatives of the 12 Belarusian Universities from Minsk, Gomel, Grodno, Mogilev and Mozyr participated in the festival. Before the festival was opened all the guests were invited to make a tour around the University and Gomel Palace & Park Ensemble. Moreover, the guests were offered to attend the exhibition “the sources” conducted by the foreign students who studied at the Belarusian State University of Transport and the presentation “Around the countries and continents”.

On May 02, 2019 a broadened meeting was held at the premises of the Center for Ideology where the representatives of MSPU Student Self-Government Committee met Valery Naunyka, Rector of MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin, Svetlana Matveeva, Head of MSPU Youth Office, and Ilona Kolossovskaya, Secretary of “Belarusian State Youth Union”. The main objective of the meeting was to conduct a dialogue with the administration of the University, to inform about the achievements, to ask the questions and to find solutions to the problems.
On April 20, 2019 vocational orientation affair “Misteries of Belarusian history” was held at the premises of Philology Department; chief organizer – Chair of History and Social Sciences. Pupils from Secondary schools of Mozyr and Kalinkovichi participated in the affair. The guests were invited to participate in Quest “Going down the road of History” and 8 historical games “Historical tour”, “Historical ABC”, “Bluff game”, “Let’s guess”, “Pantomime”, “Logical tricks”, “Landmark domino”, “Calendar of our ancestors”. Then all the guests participated in the quiz “Famous people of Belarus”. The following reports were presented to the guests: “Political repression of Stalin”, “Women in History of Belarus”, “Social and cultural cooperation of Belarus and Ukraine as the members of The Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth”.
