DAILY LIFE OF MSPU TRAINEE STUDENTS: NEW DAY – NEW EXPERIENCE

ОBeing a teacher is something difficult but at the same time reputable. Children often treat a teacher as an important person who gives them useful knowledge about school subjects and life. A good teacher is able to find a way to the heart of any pupil, to involve a pupil into the studies and respect the classmates.

MSPU students majoring in “Foreign languages (English, German)” have undertaken a 9-week internship at the premises of the State Educational Establishment “Kozenky Secondary School of Mozyr district” and the State Educational Establishment “Secondary School No. 11 in Mozyr”.

WORLD TUBERCULOSIS DAY 2021

Tuberculosis is a disease people all over the world suffer from. It is important to know more about it and spread this information among people. Victoria Prokofieva, a tuberculotherapist, Mozyr Local TB dispensary, met MSPU students with the aim to conduct a lecture devoted to tuberculosis and preventive measures we should take to be protected from this disease. A wide range of questions were discussed i.e. nature of tuberculosis, history of the disease, dangers, statistics and preventive measures to stop tuberculosis.

A white chamomile is a symbol of a healthy breath and the symbol of the fight against tuberculosis. The slogan of the campaign held in 2021 is “Time is short”. The idea of the slogan is to say that we are out of time to find the solution of how to stop tuberculosis.

ARENA FOOTBALL! VICTORY!

Arena football championship was held at the premises of Sport and Health Center “Polesye-Arena” from 10.03.2021-23.03.2021. Representatives of the educational establishments participated in this championship. It is a great honor for us to say that the Educational Establishment “Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P.Shamyakin” took the first prize! Congratulations!

A festive ceremony devoted to the honoring of the winners of the all-year sport competition among the enterprises and educational establishments in Mozyr district of Year-old 2020 was held on March 19, 2021. Educational Establishment “Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P.Shamyakin” won the 2^nd place. Congratulations!

78TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE TRAGEDY IN KHATYN

March 22, 1943 is a tragic and sorrowful date for the Belarusian people. A big tragedy happened 78 years ago in a small Belarusian village – Khatyn. 149 people (75 kids included) were burned to death in Khatyn.

In 1969 a memorial complex was opened on the place where Khatyn had been burned completely. Now this place is known as a symbol of suffering and courage of the Belarusian people.

78 years ago the Fascists entered Khatyn and encircled the village. The local citizens didn’t know anything about the fact that the partisans had accustomed the cars of the Fascists to gunfire not far from Khatyn; while shooting a German army officer was killed.

There was only one person being alive after the tragedy. It was Iosif Kaminsky, a 56-year old smith. He recovered consciousness at night when the Fascists had already left the village. He found the body of his son among the dead bodies of his fellow villagers. He took his son to his hands but the boy died very soon being held by his dad because of the deathly wounds.
