THE NATIONAL HISTORICAL MUSEUM OF THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS INVITES YOU!

On September 16–29, 2020 Art Exhibition “Youth” is being held at the premises of the

National Historical Museum of the Republic of Belarus. The exhibition is devoted to the 100 th
anniversary of the Leninist Young Communist League of Belarus. Much attention is paid to the
main stages of the Belarusian Komsomol Organization. The following items taken from the
collection of the National Historical Museum of the Republic of Belarus were exhibited i.e.
documents, pictures, posters, everyday objects, subjects of labour, clothing and personal staff of
the Soviet people.

STATE LEAVERS BALL 2020 IN MINSK

State leavers ball 2020 was held in Minsk on June 27, 2020. Alexandr Lukashenko, the President of the Republic of Belarus, participated in the event.

State leavers ball is a great event where the best students are invited and congratulated on victory in academic contests, great academic achievements, activists, etc. More than 300 students participated in the event this year.

4 students represented MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin i.e. Marina Zhuck (Physics and Engineering Department), Yulia Rusetskaya (Physical Education Department), Irina Zayats (Technology and Biology Department), Tatsiana Kiselevich (Department of Preschool and Elementary Education).

It is important to mention that Valery Naunyka, Rector of MSPU, awarded Irina Zayats (Technology and Biology Department) extra with a festive certificate for her great achievements in academic activities, active participation in social and cultural affairs of the University

AWARD CEREMONY HELD BY GOMEL REGIONAL EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE

On June 15, 2020 Vadim Prihodsko, 3^rd year student, Philology Department, majoring in “History and Social Sciences”, who represented Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P.Shamyakin, was awarded with a letter of appreciation provided by the members of Gomel Regional Executive Committee.

It is important to mention that the quantity of people who were provided with the letters didn’t exceed 5.

Vadim Prihodsko is a prominent representative of Philology Department. He participated in the creation of a historical project “Children of War” and a social project “100 ideas for Belarus”. Vadim took part in the research projects and prepared 7 scientific publications. In 2020 he did his best and participated in the International Contest “The best student of CIS – 2020”.

Vadim was born in Khotimsk (Mogilev Region). While studying at school, Vadim understood that he wanted to be a teacher of History and discover the world of mysteries. Once he was invited to participate in the Turov eparchial readings and was greatly inspired by the event and it brought him understanding that he wanted to enter Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P.Shamyakin.

Administration of Philology Department express their deepest gratitude to Vadim and Ludmila Gavrilovets, who became his scientific advisor and a great friend who always assisted him!

OUR LIFE IS A THEATRE AND WE ARE ACTORS

MSPU bachelor degree students who major in “Foreign languages (English, German)” prepared a performance after the reading of great masterpieces of literature i.e. (academic discipline “Reading comprehension”) Daphne du Maurier “Rebecca”, Charles Dickens “The Adventures of Oliver Twist”, William Maugham “The Painted Veil”. The costumes and theatrical scenery were well designed and it allowed the guests to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of those days. Irina Gutsko and several bachelor degree students visited the performances and enjoyed them a lot.
