SOCIAL CAMPAIGN “STAY INFORMED! MEASURE YOUR PRESSURE”

The representatives of MSPU Social - Pedagogical and Psychological Service, the members of the Department of Public Health (State Establishment “Mozyr Local Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology”) and Health Care Institution “Municipal Polyclinic No.2 in Mozyr” arranged a social campaign “Stay informed! Measure your pressure!” The main task of this campaign was to form a mental set for health maintenance, early recognition of arterial hypertension, prevention of miocardial infarction, cardiovascular accidents and other problems connecting with blood circulatory system. More than 50 university members and students took part in this campaign. They were assisted to measure the pressure and were given advice on how to prevent other diseases.

MSPU TEAM WON CROSS-COUNTRY RACE

State Universiade – 2021 was held in Vitebsk on April 22-23, 2021. 22 teams who represented Higher educational Establishments participated in the contest. MSPU combined team won the third prize. Congratulations!

WHEN YOU CHOOSE HEALTH, YOU CHOOSE LIFE

Educational Affairs Department (MSPU) arranged a social campaign “When you choose health, you choose life!” on April 21, 2021. MSPU students from all the faculties participated in this event. There were 4 teams who prepared 4 bright performances. All the performances were devoted to healthy life style. The representatives of MSPU Student Trade Union Committee granted the teams with the gifts at the end of the event.

DOORS OPEN DAY AT TECHNOLOGY AND BIOLOGY FACULTY

Doors open day was held at Technology and Biology Department on April 10, 2021. More than 60 people participated in this offline event. The school graduates and the teachers from “Yanka Kupala upper secondary school in Mozyr”, Mozyr State Regional Lyceum, Secondary School № 7 in Mozyr, Secondary School № 11 in Mozyr, Secondary School № 13 in Mozyr, Secondary School № 15 in Mozyr, Kozenky Secondary School, Secondary School № 3 in Kalinkovichi were invited.

All the participants were given promotional materials and were informed about antiepidemic measures. Elena Tikhonova, Dean of Technology and Biology Faculty, greeted the participants and told them about the History and traditions of the faculty, peculiarities of training, paid some attention to the organization of the educational process held at the faculty, specific features of Admission campaign 2021, possibilities for creative activities and sport.

STATE VOLUNTARY CAMPAIGN “THE WEEK OF THE FOREST - 2021”

State voluntary campaign “The Week of the forest - 2021” was held in the Republic of Belarus on April 03-10, 2021. The campaign was devoted to the Year of the National Unity. The main aim of this campaign was to draw attention to the fact that the forest took an important role in the ecological, economic and social development of the region.

Each participant of the campaign made contribution to the formation of the national wealth. The campaign had the motto “Let’s preserve nature! What will be remained when we pass over! Love the country we live in!”

While being there V.V. Kopytkov, Professor, Department of Biology and Ecology, explained MSPU students what planting season should have been used in order to grow the pines, planting techniques and the capacity of the forest tree nursery “Mozyr Experimental Forestry Farm”.
