STATE SOCIAL CAMPAIGN “BE CAREFUL WITH THE FIRE”

On November 13 – 28, 2019 State social campaign “Be careful with the fire” was held in Mozyr. The main objective of the campaign was to inform people about great danger of fire and smoking inside the buildings. On November 26, 2019 MSPU Social Support Center and Ministry of Emergency Situations in Mozyr arranged a social campaign “Give us a cigarette, take a sweet”. The main objective of the campaign was to pay attention of the students to the importance of safety measures!

On November 21, 2019 MSPU Freshmen cup – 2019 was held at the premises of Culture Center "Stroitel". All the teams did their best to make this day unforgettable! Before the performance had started Sergey Schchur, Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, congratulated the students and awarded the best students with festive diplomas!

Representatives of the Society for Development of Water Transport and Passenger Safety in Mozyr met MSPU students and lectured on the basic safety rules. The students were informed about the main directions, significant events and statistics on death. The water safety measures were offered to follow:

- It is not allowed to move on the ice in the dark or under the conditions of poor visibility.

- When crossing the river, ice crossing should be used.

- If you want to move across frozen water, it is necessary to take a closer look, to identify the route and if the route is not dangerous then move.

- When driving, avoid places where ice is covered with snow.

- Make sure that the ice is strong.

- It is forbidden to check the strength of the ice with the foot.

- When crossing the ice accompanied by a group of people, keep the distance of 5-6 m between each other. To cross frozen water and to use the skies is the best option ever.

RESEARCH TO PRACTICE SEMINAR “BELARUSIAN PEOPLE, LET’S UNITE!”

On November 12, 2019 Research to practice seminar “Belarusian people, let’s unite” was held at the premises of Philology Department; chief organizer: Chair of History and Teaching Methodology. The seminar was devoted to the 80^th anniversary of unity between the West Belarus and BSSR. The main objective of the seminar was to study History of Belarus; to discuss the unity of the West Belarus and BSSR. 1^st – 3^rd year students majoring in History and Social Sciences participated in the seminar.

VLADIMIR PRIVALOV VISITED MSPU NAMED AFTER I.P.SHAMYAKIN

On November 15, 2019 Vladimir Privalov, Deputy Chairman of Gomel Regional Executive Committee visited MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. Mr Privalov met the teachers and the students. Much attention was paid to education, public health service, sport. Mr Privalov spoke about social affairs, ideology, heath service, education and youth politics and the ways how these sectors were developed and supported by the government. Alongside with the mentioned above topics such topical issues were discussed as well: crimes, drugs, suicide, socially dangerous families.
