CLEAN WORDS – CLEAN SOULS: MSPU STUDENTS MET SERGY KARPOVICH

photo MSPU students met Sergy Karpovich, a priest, Kazan Cathedral in Kalinkovichi on February 24, 2022. The meeting was devoted to the development of the legal culture within the language communication. Much attention was paid to the connection between the words and the human soul. Sergy Karpovich spoke about negative consequences of swearing. MSPU social teacher lectured on legal aspects of this problem.

CAREER GUIDANCE FAIR

photo Oksana Pozyvailo, Head of the Department of Biology and Ecology, and Lada Krasovskaya, Head Teacher of the Department of Technological Education, took part at the Career Guidance Fair held at the premises of the State Educational Establishmen “Secondary School No.13 in Zhlobin” on February 19, 2022. MSPU delegates presented the main achievements of the University and a wide range of the bachelor degree programs available for admission in 2022.

REFERENDUM

 

photo Pavel Kohan, a 1 st year student, Physics and Engineering Faculty, took part on the referendum for the first time. Pavel said: “I came here to take a vote. I understand that all the changes are made to make our life better. I was born in Grodno region, but currently I am living in Mozyr, that’s why I am taking a vote at the University. I have studied all the changes and got to know that much attention has been paid to the young people, development of their personal potential and open possibilities to take part in the social life of the country. I believe that the development of the youth policy will lead to the prosperity at the modern society”.

140 TH ANNIVERSARY OF YANKA KUPALA

photo Elena Suzko, PhD in Philology, Associate Professor, and Irina Sudibor, Head Teacher, arranged a festive academic event devoted to the 140 th anniversary of Yanka Kupala. Much attention was paid to the biography of the writer and his classical comedy “Paulinka” which is known as a masterpiece of the Belarusian literature. All the students from the Philology Faculty participated in the contest and were deeply involved in the implementation of the tasks. There was a great spirit of creativity, competition and unity of hearts. There were 3 groups of participants. Group 1 “Kupalinki” won the first prize. Group 2 “Stars of the Palesye” won the second prize. Group 3 “Agrest” won the third prize. All the participants were awarded with the festive diplomas.
