ALL-YEAR ROUND CHESS COMPETITION AT MSPU

photoThe all-year round chess competition was held at MSPU named after I.P. Shamyakin on March 10, 2022.

ACADEMIC TOURNAMENT «WE REMEMBER. WE KNOW. WE FEEL PROUD»

photo The academic tournament “We remember. We know. We feel proud” was held at the premises of Philology Department, MSPU named after I.P. Shamyakin, on March 11, 2022. This event was devoted to the Year of the historical memory. MSPU students majoring in “History and Social Sciences” took part in this tournament. There were 2 formats: “Media ABC” and “Quiz”. All the questions were arranged in a specific way. The atmosphere of the event was quite great and vivid. The participants recollected the memories about the war period, legendary military leaders and the Red Army.

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY

photoInternational women’s day is an important holiday for every person all over the world. We celebrate it in spring. As we all know a woman and spring look alike, because they are inseparable. MSPU administration decided to congratulate the women on the eve of this holiday and invited everybody to enjoy the concert. Sergey Schchur, PhD in Pedagogy, Associate Professor, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, opened the ceremony and congratulated the ladies on this great holiday. He wished each lady to be happy, beautiful and healthy. In their turn talented MSPU students prepared festive performance for the guests! Happy Women’s Day!

PREVENTIVE CAMPAIGN AGAINST ILLEGAL DRUG TURNOVER

photo S.N.Korol, a member of the Drug and Human Trafficking Unit, Mozyr Local Department of Internal Affairs, and V.N.Kovalenko, Head of the Juvenile Liaison Office, Mozyr Local Department of Internal Affairs, met MSPU students on March 03, 2022. The students were informed about the punishment they may have undergone in case of illegal drug turnover and drug analogue substances.

PREVENTIVE CAMPAIGN AGAINST DRUG ABUSE WITH THE VOLUNTEERS FROM THE LOCAL PUBLIC ORGANIZATION “THE RIGHT TO LIFE”

photo MSPU students met V.S.Chumakov and I.S.Bragin, members of the local public organization “The right to life”, visited MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin on March 02, 2022. The students talked to the volunteers and watched a movie devoted to the problem of drug abuse. After the watching the students expressed their opinions upon the problem.
