INTERNSHIP OF MSPU TEACHERS

26-1On December 03-14, 2018 Helen Astreyko, Irina Karpovich, Ludmila Tsalko, representatives of the chair of Pedagogics and Psychology, undertook an internship at the premises of the National Institute of Higher Education.

National Institute of Higher Education is a leading center of advanced training and retraining, innovations in education in the Republic of Belarus. NIHE is a responsible partner for enhancement of content and quality of education among educational-training establishments in the Republic of Belarus. State net of academic courses, programs for advanced training has been developed with the aim to upgrade capacity building of teaching staff. NIHE possesses modern and well-equipped classrooms, a library, copying center and a nice hostel for students, all these make NIHE a good place for studies!

The aim of the internship was to acquaint the students with the leading tendencies and topical issues of Psychology and Pedagogics in modern times.

Results of the internship:

-          Working experience of the academic staff from the Chair of Psychology and Teaching mastery was studied, lectures and workshops devoted to the topic “Topical issues of Pedagogics and Psychology” were attended;

-          E- training documents were carefully studied i.e. “Development of Russian Psychology today”, “Modern tendencies in Teaching mastery and ways to upgrade mastery”, “Innovative techniques in education”, “Topical issues of modern suicidology”, “Conflicts while teaching”, “Psychology of talent. Topical issues”, “Topical issues of methodology of research methods in Psychology”;

-          Scientific articles were prepared on the topics “Academy of innovative teaching mastery as a platform for enhancement of scientific and theoretical training of teachers-representatives of the establishment for additional education”, “Deontological readiness of teachers- representatives of the establishment for additional education to cooperate with talented pupils”;

-          Innovation forms of work were presented i.e. case-technology, brain-storm, debates, focus-group, business game, role-play, discussion in the group, training sessions;

-          Research and methodology workshop “Innovative techniques for heuristic potential of experts”, “Topical issues of modern natural science”.

The knowledge and experience MSPU teachers got would be introduced into academic process “Introduction into Teaching profession”, “Fundamentals of Psychology and Pedagogics”, “Teaching mastery”, “Psychology of talent”, “Psychology”, “Psychological and pedagogical support of pupils with special needs”, “Psychology”, “Social work with migrants”.
