INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE “HUMAN RIGHTS AND BIOMEDICINE. EDUCATIONAL COURSE “HELP””

On December 07, 2018 International conference “Human rights and biomedicine. Educational course “HELP””. Conference was held within the cooperation plan established between the European Union and the Republic of Belarus on Bioethics. Belarusian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Studies was acting as a co-organizer of the conference. The participants of the conference got a chance to attend the lectures of Katrin Wermann, administrator of the department for bioethics at the European Council, Ritwa Halila, senior officer of the Ministry of Social Affairs and public health service in Finland, D.Vasilevich, Head of the Department for General Prosecutor Office of the Republic of Belarus.
The second part of the conference was devoted to the presentation of the educational course “Help”on Bioethics. It is a great honour to say that Belarus was the first country where this course was introduced and adapted to local government and national strategy plan.
The representatives of the European Council and the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus conducted a contest “Accessible Bioethics”. At the conference the main achievements were discussed. MSPU students were awarded with honorable prizes and diplomas! University administration congratulates Natasha Gruzinova and Alina Bartos on getting the prizes!
