SCIENTIFIC SCHOOLS AT PHYSICS AND ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT

On April 25, 2018 the leaders of scientific schools held at Physics and Engineering Department met bachelor degree students with the aim to lecture and present the perspective directions of work. Vladimir Savenko, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Head of Physics and Mathematics Chair, introduced 3^rd year students with the scientific school of PHYSICS OF STRENGTH AND PLASTICITY, new tendencies in development of modern science, practice-oriented techniques and about 2^nd congress of scientists of the Republic of Belarus which was held in Minsk on December 12 – 13, 2017.

Vasily Shepelevich, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, Head of Theoretical Physics and Applied Mathematics, told 1^st year students about the ways how to conduct research and new tendencies in scientific research. Much attention was paid to scientific school “Research tasks on Physics” and great perspectives available for young scientists.

Gennady Kulak, Professor, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics Sciences, met 2^nd year students and told them about the topical issues of scientific schools “Acoustooptics of anizotropic crystals and optic guides”.
