On March 28, 2018 participants of State Academic Contest in Belarusian Language, Belarusian Literature, History of Belarus, World History visited Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P. Shamyakin. The most talented and skillful pupils from Brest Region, Vitebsk Region, Grodno Region, Gomel Region, Mogilev Region, Minsk Region, Minsk City, BSU Lyceum, Poland, Lithuania came to Mozyr with the aim not only meet worthy adversaries but win.
Valery Navnyko, Vice-Rector for Research, greeted the audience and claimed that MSPU named after I.P. Shamyakin had always been a scientific, educational and cultural center of the Belarusian Polessie. Tatsiana Symanovich, Dean of Philology Department, said that spirit of creation and never-ending research of young people would bring prosperity and joy to our Motherland. Creative project “Youth… Intellect…Creativity” was presented to the guests by Philology Department students.
