Volunteer association "Do Good" was arranged at the premises of Preschool and Elementary Education Department. This year members of the association have already made visits to Mozyr Orphan Home, Correctional and Developing Center, kindergartens.
On May 16, 2016 Students of Technology and Biology visited Mozyr Animal Shelter "Fast Friends" under the auspices of Svetlana Karas, Assistant, Chair of Labour and Fine Arts. The aim of this social campaign was to support the shelter and understand what responsibility, mercy and compassion really meant.
On May 20, 2016 Annual Competition in Sanitary Forming of Civil Defence was held in Mozyr. MSPU team won the first prize! Students from Technology and Biology Department, members of academic staff represented our educational establishment.
On May 11 – 13, 2016 XXV State Fashion and Photo Festival – Contest “Fashion Mill - 2016” was held in Minsk. As usual there were traditional nominations: “Fashion school”, “Fashion Master”, “Photo”, “Style Master”, “Miss – Model of Belarus”, “Mr – Model of Belarus”, “Model – Debut of Festival - Contest”, “Top – Model of Festival - Contest”.
Victoria Yarosh and Alena Krysanova, 2nd year students, Technology and Biology Department, represented our establishment of Higher education. Teen collection “Blue Moth” by Yarosh and Krysanova consisted of 10 outfits and of various types of textile processing (knitting, painting, textile bijouterie). The girls were gained the diplomas of the participants.
On May 14, 2016 State University Saturday Campaign - 2016, a career – guidance and educational campaign, was held at the premises of the “Castle of Sport”, Minsk. MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin was invited to take part in this socially significant event.
