31ST INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON SPACE FLIGHT ASSOCIATION ACTIVITIES

On September 10, 2018 the 31st international congress on space flight association activities was held in Minsk Exhibition Center “Belexpo” with the participation of Alexander Lukashenko, the President of the Republic of Belarus.

Valery Navnyko, Vice-Rector for Research, and Eduard Grechannikov, Head of the Sector for Science and Research, participated in the congress.

Alexander Lukashenko claimed that Space Industry had been developing instantly and steadily. Optical satellite systems, space-based mirrors, earth sounding from space equipment have been successfully produced in our country. The Belarusian scientists are in close cooperation with the colleagues from Russia with the aim to investigate Space technologies.

The congress is being conducted within a 3-day period where several subject-matter sessions on Innovations in Space industry and Space flights will be held.

 

THE DAY OF KNOWLEDGE - 2018

  4-20On September 01, 2018 the day of knowledge was celebrated at Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P.Shamyakin. Valentin Valetov, Rector of the University, Honorary worker of education, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Honorary professor, opened a festive ceremony. Mr Rector congratulated all the members of teaching staff on the beginning of a new year. He called the students to get the secrets of professional mastery, to participate in scientific, cultural and sport activities held at the premises of the university.

IGOR KARPENKO, THE MINISTER OF EDUCATION OF THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS, VISITED MSPU NAMED AFTER I.P.SHAMYAKIN

On July 05, 2018 Igor Karpenko, the Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus, visited MSPU named after I.P.Shamyakin. The main aim of the visit was to meet MSPU staff members and students.

Igor Karpenko got a tour around the university where he saw the gym, MSPU museum for ethnography and culture of the Polessie, Center for Ideology, the exhibition of students’ achievements.

Administration and staff members of Physics and Engineering Department express their deepest gratitude to Olga Veko, an MSPU graduate, a teacher of Mathematics at Upper secondary school in Kalinkovichi, who successfully defended a PhD thesis in Physics and Mathematics.

Olga has started her way to science when she was a student of Physics and Mathematics Department. She participated in science and research conferences, became a winner of the international and state academic contests in Mathematics and Physics. Olga Veko got an honorary diploma of appreciation from the members of Gomel Region Executive Committee.

INDEPENDENCE DAY IN THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS

Independence Day in the Republic of Belarus is known as a great affair for the people who live in the country. This day is usually associated with courage and heroism of the ancestors who struggled against the Nazi. This deed is available only for the people who have a high level of dignity, pride and love to the Motherland.

Alongside with the military men who marched in the city center to the memorial complex “Burial mound of Glory” MSPU administration, teachers and students participated in the festive parade. In the frame of the student volunteer club a decision to visit Yulia Khrustalyova and Vladimir Pugalov, veterans of war, was made. During the meeting MSPU students got to know much about the fate of the veterans and congratulated the veterans on the Independence Day in the Republic of Belarus.
