On April 4, 2024, the International Athletics Run "Bragin Ten", dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Chernobyl disaster, was held in Bragin, in the program of the Olympic Running Day.
The event is annually timed to coincide with the anniversary of the Chernobyl disaster, it begins near the monument erected in honor of Vasily Ignatenko, a native of the district, a firefighter who participated in extinguishing the accident and died from radiation.
It is not the first year that the senior lecturer of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Disciplines Doinyak Igor Petrovich takes part in these competitions. This year, Igor Petrovich took the 4th place in his age category at a distance of 10 km. Congratulations!
