Every year on 7 November the Republic of Belarus celebrates one of the significant state holidays - the Day of the October Socialist Revolution.
The Revolution of 1917 is the main event of the twentieth century, which not only changed the paths of historical development, but also had a great impact on the history of the Belarusian land.
Thanks to the revolution there were fundamental changes in the socio-political development of our country. The Belarusian people gained statehood, created economic and intellectual potential, preserved and enriched the national culture. People got the right to work, to education, to rest, the right to participate in the country's governance.
