Every year the contest is held in order to activate innovative thinking of the youth, to involve them in solving the problems of socio-economic development of the Republic of Belarus, to stimulate civil initiatives to implement innovative projects and scientific and technical developments. And already in the internal qualifying round the students of our university have convincingly proved that they also have something to offer to the society, having presented to the expert commission 9 original projects, declared in 4 nominations: “Society and Social Sphere”, “Ecology”, “Information and Communication Technologies” and “Best Business Idea”.

Having assessed the relevance, practical significance of the projects, their feasibility, clarity and logical reasoning in setting goals and objectives, novelty of ideas, the jury decided to recommend 3 projects for further participation. The honour to represent our university in the interuniversity stage in Gomel fell to the students of the Faculty of Technology and Biology Pavel Kozlovsky, Alexander Atroshkin, who presented to the audience a unique set for creativity “I know, I know how, I can”, Vadim Zhukov, Vadim Zhukov, who promotes the environmental project “Protection of biological diversity of flora and fauna of the Republic of Belarus from invasive species of plants and animals through civic initiatives”, and Kirill Piskunov, a student of the Faculty of Philology, who developed a new mobile application “BRSM Cities”.
