'INFORMATION SECURITY' MEETING AT THE DEPARTMENT OF PRE-SCHOOL AND ELEMENTARY EDUCATION

On January 29, 2025 for students of the Faculty of Preschool and Primary Education was organised a meeting dedicated to information security.

With a welcoming speech to the participants addressed the Deputy Dean for ideological and educational work E.S.Astreiko. Elena Sergeevna stressed the importance of conscious behaviour of each person when using information technologies and underlined the relevance of the topic of the meeting. Specific recommendations on safe behaviour on the Internet were made by the invited guests: V.A. Levkovich, an operative of the criminal investigation department of the criminal police of the Mozyr district executive committee, senior lieutenant of police, and D.S. Beletsky, an operative of the department for combating cybercrime of the criminal police of the Mozyr district executive committee, lieutenant of police.

In their speeches, the experts dwelt on the general goals and tasks of information security; threats awaiting modern youth on the Internet; ways to improve information security both at home and on the Internet; trends in the development of society on the Web, etc. The experts held a quiz on information security, which was held by the experts.

The quiz on information security conducted by the experts allowed students to determine for themselves how competent they are in this area and helped to consolidate their knowledge.

At the end of the event, students asked questions and received comprehensive answers from the experts.
