MEETING-CONVERSATION “FAMILY UNITY: THE POWER OF TRADITION AND SPIRITUALITY”

On 18 October, 2014 on the basis of the University held a meeting-conversation with Priest Alexander Bushlyakov, rector of the parish of the church in honour of the icon of the Mother of God ‘Joy of All Who Sorrow’ in Mozyr and the head of the youth department, responsible for work in the field of culture and interaction with cultural departments of district executive committees and responsible for family issues Daria Bondarchuk.
During the meeting the students were told about the Christian understanding of family and marriage, about the important role of family in the life of every person and about the principles on which family relations are built. For peace and harmony to reign in the family, it is necessary to protect family values and observe moral laws: to love, believe, respect, understand.
Dialogue meetings are always informative and interesting. Young people have something to think about.
At the end of the meeting, the priest stressed that the main thing in a family is the opportunity to serve your neighbour and to discover the gift of sacrifice. At the same time, any family should begin with love, chastity and mutual understanding. These virtues can not only prevent the breakup of a family, but also strengthen it spiritually.
