Today on 17 October the Forum of Rectors of Universities of BRICS countries started its work in Moscow. It was attended by about 200 representatives of higher educational institutions. Heads of universities and other scientific institutions from Russia, Belarus, Brazil, China, Saudi Arabia, India, South Africa, Egypt, Iran, UAE and Ethiopia gathered at the Lomonosov Moscow State University.
Among the participants was Valery Navnyko, Rector of the I.P. Shamyakin Mozyr State Pedagogical University.
It is the first time the participants of the Forum meet in such a format. The Forum will allow them to exchange opinions on various issues and share their experience. An important goal of the Forum will be the expansion of humanitarian co-operation among the BRICS countries.
