On the 7th of May 2024 within the framework of the events dedicated to the 79th anniversary of the Victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War and the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Belarus from Nazi invaders, the curatorial hour “In our memory moments of war...” was held in the study groups No. 3 of the first and second year. The students made reports about the exploits of their great-grandfathers on the battlefields, about the hardships of the Belarusian population during the occupation, about the deprivation and inhuman conditions of the prisoners of concentration camps and those sent to forced labour. The participants of the curatorial hour saw unique footage of war newsreels - a living testimony of the terrible war with Nazi Germany and the great feat of soldiers and partisans who defended our Belarus.
The events of the Great Patriotic War should not become the property of archives and be erased from the memory of the people. We must always remember the “expensive” price of the Victory to the Soviet people. We say ‘thank you’ to our grandfathers and great-grandfathers who defended the Motherland, who went through the war on the battlefields and in the rear.
As long as we remember the past, we have a future!
