THE DANGERS OF CYBERCRIME: HOW TO PROTECT YOURSELF IN THE ONLINE WORLD

On December 7, 2023, 4th year students of the Faculty of Physics and Engineering visited the State Educational Institution "Secondary School No. 13" in Mozyr. Within the framework of the project "Peer Teaches Peer", the children held an informational conversation with 10th grade students on the topic "The Danger of Cybercrime: How to Protect Yourself in the Online World" on how not to encounter fraudsters on the Internet.
Attendees were told what types of online activities are considered cybercrimes, malware attacks and phishing were considered as examples. As a result, rules were formulated, following which you can protect yourself from cybercriminals and avoid negative consequences.
Schoolchildren are active users of the Internet, so the information was relevant and useful for them.
