X INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC-PRACTICAL CONFERENCE “TOPICAL PROBLEMS OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION, SPORT AND TOURISM”

On 10-11 October 2024 the X International Scientific and Practical Conference “Actual Problems of Physical Education, Sports and Tourism” was held at Physical Education Department. More than 50 scientists, expert practitioners, specialists, teachers from the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation, the People's Republic of China took part in the conference.

The aim of the conference was to generalise the best practices and innovations in the field of physical education, sport and tourism, to establish and develop scientific ties between scientists, to exchange scientific and practical achievements.

The conference included the following scientific directions: “Physical Education in the formation of a healthy lifestyle. Health-improving and adaptive Physical Education”, “Physical Education of pupils, students and pre-school children”, “Organisation and management of educational and training process of sportsmen of different qualification and preparation of sports reserve”.

At the solemn opening of the conference the rector of Mozyr State Pedagogical University named after I.P. Shamyakin, candidate of physical and mathematical sciences, associate professor V.N. Navnyko made a welcoming speech.

Plenary reports were made by: V.V. Shantarovich, Associate Professor of the Department of Physical Education and Sports Disciplines, Honoured Coach of the Republic of Belarus, senior coach in canoeing; E. Kallaur, Ph. G., candidate of medical sciences, associate professor, doctor of the national rowing and canoeing team (Republican Centre of Olympic training in rowing sports); Mitusova E.D., Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor (State Social-Humanitarian University, Kolomna); Zavodnik Lev Borisovich, Associate Professor of the Department of Theory of Physical Education and Sports Medicine (Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno); Kostyashkina Galina Aleksandrovna, Head of Sports and Tourism Department of Mozyr District Executive Committee.

Following the results of the conference a collection of materials of the scientific-practical conference “Actual problems of Physical Education, Sport and Tourism” will be published.
