The first-year students of Philology Department got acquainted with the wide opportunities in acquiring skills of research work within the framework of the activities of the circles and laboratories of the Faculty, such as SNIC “Antiquity” (scientific supervisor - candidate of historical sciences, associate professor, head of History and Social Sciences Department Telepen S.V.), SNIC “Russian Literature in the context of world and national culture” (scientific supervisor - candidate of philological sciences, associate professor, head of Russian and Belarusian Philology Department Chechko T. N. N.), SNIL ‘Courage’ (supervisor - Associate Professor, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor of History and Social Sciences Department Barsuk E.E.), SNIL “Neological Processes in Language” (supervisor - Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor of Russian and Belarusian Philology Department Kurash S. B.), SNIL “Lingua” (scientific supervisor - Associate Professor, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages and Foreign Language Teaching Methods T.N. Taletskaya).
The students learnt about the scientific and scientific-practical conferences held at the university, in which they can take part and publish the results of their research activities: the International Student Scientific and Practical Conference “From Idea to Innovation”, scientific-practical conferences “Shamyakinskiye Chytanni”, “Mozyrshchina: People, Events, Time’, ‘Turov Diocesan Educational Readings”.
